Carga Bags

Every step in the production of designer Mauro Bianucci’s Carga Bags has been thoroughly considered, resulting in a fabrication process that is as ethical as the bags are attractive (i.e., very). Each bag is handcrafted using recycled industrial wool felt and chrome-free (naturally tanned and biodegradable) leather. Both the bag assembly and the leather tanning are done in family owned factories in Argentina. The leather preparation is especially noteworthy as it utilizes a centuries-old, earth-friendly method, and is carried out in a factory that has been passed down amongst the same family for over 150 years. While Carga Bags are (so far) the most expensive to be featured, their materials and construction – not to mention slew of thoughtful details and stunning good looks – make them a worthy investment.
